References used on the hand and face. The face was very much influenced by my favorite Geisha, Suzuha. However, I didn't find the look of the white make up very fitting, so I stuck with the more olive tone.
Oh, she's a kitsune, which is why she has fuzzy ears.
Beautiful work. You caputred the sensuality AND innocence of your subject very well.
The shading on the skin is beautiful, though the tone is a little too cold. Try using a deep red or purple for a shadow, rather than a brown, and use bright red (BRIGHT red. Emphasize bright a little more) with a low opacity and a fuzzy brush on the boundery between the light areas and the shadows to add even more warmth to it. The hair is lovely, you did a fanastic job. The pins are a bit flat. Use darker shadows and brighter highlights, and throw some color from the surrounding objects into the mix, to make it appear reflective.
It's a fantastic work. Probably the best I've seen from you so far.
